Beretta 690

September 2019

A client dropped his 2 year old Beretta 690 while cleaning the gun. Even though it fell only about 12 inches on to a table top, the stock broke right through the pistol grip.

It was not one clean break – there was also a crack on the upper right portion of the grip area.

After suitably reinforcing the break from the inside, we used a Two-part epoxy mixed with a dye to match the colour of the wood and glued the parts together.

After sanding off the excess glue, the break is hardly visible.
